This course provides an introduction to the management of business operations and emphasizes understanding of basic concepts and techniques in the operations management area that are needed to facilitate efficient management of productive systems in manufacturing and service sectors. A strong emphasis is placed on the development and use of quantitative models to assist operational decision making. The course is taught in an interactive setting and requires class participation.
