Prerequisite(s): At least three years of preparatory mathematics and departmental permission Note: Students who take this course may not take MA 119 or MA 125 for credit. Presents a rigorous treatment of certain topics in analytic geometry, limits and continuity, the differentiation of algebraic functions of a single variable, optimization problems, curve sketching, the differential, and applications to business, economics and social sciences. Computer solutions are used for selected problems.
