Prerequisite: Admission to the Professional Education Program This course will provide students with the ability to assess educational needs of special learners. Emphasis on consideration of non-discriminatory procedures appropriate to social, racial and linguistic differences. Strategies for modifying teaching based on evaluation results. A field-based, prepracticum experience is required at the level of license sought: PreK-8, 5-12.
