A research or creative project in the major or minor undertaken by advanced students, working under the supervision of a member of the faculty with appropriate expertise, as the capstone to the college career, concludes with an oral defense. Planning for an Honors Senior Thesis should begin no later than eight weeks prior to the beginning of the semester in which the study will begin. Requires senior Honors standing. A maximum of six hours of Honors Senior Thesis credit or combination of Honors Independent Study may be applied toward graduation in University Honors.
