Chemical biology considers a variety of biological systems in terms of their molecular components and potential behavior as defined by chemical functional groups, three-dimensional character, likely internal motion, and inter-molecular interactions with respect to the aqueous and non-aqueous environments that constitute life. Prerequisite: CHE 1046R & L or CHE 1046H or CHE 1046C and CHE 1214R and CHE 1214L or CHE 1214C and BIO 1011R and BIO 1011L or BIO 1011C and honors standing or permission to attend an honors course.
