A study of the principles and techniques of audio and video production. A special emphasis is placed on the utilization of these techniques in broadcast settings. Included will be: audio principles & recording, acoustics, camerawork, switching, studio equipment, set design, directing, and producing. After completing this course successfully, students will have the basic knowledge needed to perform a variety of jobs within the broadcasting profession. This course is primarily production oriented, with emphasis on learning by doing.
