This course is designed to provide the student with classroom activities to enrich critical thinking and problem solving skills. Case scenarios, individualized and group projects, data displays and information systems accentuate the content of this course. Human resource management including: recruitment methods, selection and retention of employees, performance evaluation, team building, as well as internal and external environmental challenges facing the HIM department managers today will be highlighted.
