Description:

This course includes theory and safety procedures. Students work to achieve competency in the following: shielding metal arc welding procedures, stringer beads, butt welds and lab welds in the flat and horizontal positions. Students also become familiar with oxyacetylene flame cutting equipment and its application. Students must register for a lecture and laboratory section.
