This course is a study of thermodynamics, heat transfer and load calculations for heating and cooling. Atmosphere, stratosphere, cloud formations and greenhouse effects are studied as they relate to climate control for heating and cooling at specific temperatures. The course covers estimating draft calculations, fuel consumption, building material "resistance" factors and service. Students must register for a lecture and laboratory section.
