Description:
A supervised business internship in organizations in the private and public sectors. This course provides students with the opportunity to gain valuable field experience in performing business/administration functions while developing their networking skills and cultivating their own network of professional contacts. Open to all majors, junior standing is strongly recommended, evidence of good writing skills required. Students may qualify for a business internship on the basis of having taken specific courses or having had learning experiences outside the classroom. Prerequisites: BUS 310, 346; Career Center workshops on resume writing and interviewing; business index of at least 2.5; references from a full-time business faculty member and academic advisor; must have completed at least 60 credits by start of internship and at least one semester on campus at Saint Rose; application and screening interviews necessary.
