This course focuses on the management of the marketing functions within an organization from a decision-making perspective. The marketing planning process is used to delineate the relationships among marketing functions within an organization from a decision-making perspective. Topics covered are market analysis, market measurement, competitive analysis and the coordination and control of programs in product development, pricing decisions, advertising, sales promotion and sales and distribution. Qualitative and quantitative analysis, including statistical software. Students create a marketing plan for their portfolio.
