An introduction to fundamental legal terminology, concepts and principles in the area of court procedures and jurisdiction, torts, torts in the business environment and criminal law. Emphasis will be placed on the general laws of contracts, U.C.C. (Sale of goods, product liability, and negotiable instruments). Current court decisions and statutes, particularly those dealing with business transactions and relationships will be included.(L10)
