Acquisition, transmission and epidemiology of HIV and the host response will be studied as well as the clinical course of infection. During the last part of the course the most important other sexually transmitted diseases such as chlamydia, herpes, etc. will be covered. Confers degree, not major or minor credit. (Fulfills AIDS education component requirement). Offered as needed.
