Description:
The challenge of creating photographic imagery within a studio environment will be the primary emphasis of this course. It is open to all art majors - assignments are designed to explore commercial problem solving, table top and still life constructions, and portraiture. Students will learn to operate medium and large format cameras, hand held exposure meters, and work with several applications of studio lighting. Assignments will challenge each student to effectively combine their concepts and photographic skills using black and white, color negative, and Polaroid materials. Materials fee.
