Theory and hands-on exercise of electronic sensing and control using discrete components as well as microcomputer control applications. Emphasis is placed on general system principles, input sensing, transducers, switching, counting, positioning, and control. Digital and analog theory as well as introduction to industrial electronics, basic mechanics, and robotics will be addressed. Materials fee required.
