This course is designed to impart factual information about individual and group differences among humans in such areas as intelligence, achievement, personality, attitudes, interests, and values. The function of gender, age, ethnicity, and race will be examined as well as the methodology used to study individual differences. Students will gain an appreciation of the history of the field as well as contemporary findings, and the applied implications of such findings. Prerequisite: Psy 290 or permission of instructor.
