Introduction to the elements of melody, harmony and rhythm with emphasis on aural comprehension, intervals, keys, triads, simple part-writings, rhythmic reading. Music 200, 201, 300 and 301, constitute a theoretical preparation for students entering the music profession and are designed for liberal arts students majoring in music.
