As a non calculus-based extension of Meteorology 210, this course will help students further their understanding of the structure and evolution of mid-latitude and tropical weather systems, the formation of clouds and thunderstorms, and introductory climatology. Students will learn the fundamentals of weather forecasting through case studies and by participation in the SUNY Oswego Daily Weather Forecasting Contest.
