This course provides students an experiential learning opportunity through fieldwork in real-life health promotion/wellness settings. Students observe and participate in day-to-day work assignments under the supervision of one or more practicing professionals. Students may receive 1 - 3 semester hours of academic credit. Forty hours of professional contact hours are required for each credit earned. Students must apply for admission to the course during the semester preceding their practicum.
