This course aims for student development of effective research skills relevant for library research at Oswego and other academic institutions, utilizing print and electronic information resources. Emphasis is placed on the application of these skills to individual research interests. Valuation of information and information sources is also stressed. This course should be taken in conjunction with another course that requires the student to do a research paper or project.
