This course will focus on teaching specific critical thinking skills using applications from economics. The course instructs students in critical reading, listening and viewing, and in formal logic using examples from economic theory, media interpretation of economics, economic policy making, and statistical applications in economics. Course topics will be drawn from both current microeconomic and macroeconomic issues.
