This course is designed as a seminar to study, discuss, and critically examine nonviolent strategies in theory and practice. It will survey the spiritual, philosophical, and historical foundations of nonviolence. A particular emphasis will be placed on modern philosophers and practitioners of nonviolence and on current issues. Prerequisites: Pst 200 or 397 and two core courses from one of the concentrations or permission of instructor for non-minor students. Sp--3--
