Students study an independent research problem under the direction of a faculty advisor and share experiences through oral progress reports. Three hours of laboratory, conference, and library research per week for each hour of credit. Students must arrange with a faculty member to sponsor and supervise a research project. May be repeated for credit for a total of six semester hours. Prerequisites: Che 212 and appropriate safety training. Restricted to senior chemistry majors. Fl, Sp-1 to 6-
