An examination of the legal and regulatory environment of e-business. Emphasis will be on the application of the common law to the Internet and e-commerce, emerging trends and legislation affecting the Internet and e-commerce from a domestic and international perspective. In addition, students will be introduced to the fundamentals of legal and business research on the World Wide Web and LEXIZ/NEXIS(c) electronic legal research system.
