This course is designed for all science majors who wish to create computer-instrument interfaces and who wish to use such interfaces for data acquisition in the laboratory. Both the hardware and software aspects of interfacing are addressed. Software development is minimized by using commercial programs. Some familiarity with personal computers is assumed.
