This course will focus on the book form as art from both experimental and traditional views. It will allow the artist to explore the book form as a container or physical structure. Emphasis will also be placed on the technical aspects of hinges, cover designs, and closures. The artist can utilize a variety of mediums and methods to visually convey conceptual or narrative messages. Presentation of original work is required.
