Observation and participation assignments in a school setting, approximately 4 hours per week. This practicum course is designed to help prospective middle and high school teachers better understand the relationships among diverse learners, teachers, schools, and curricula. In addition, prospective teachers will focus on state and national standards and reform efforts, infusion of technology in instruction, and specific methods for developing science skills and dispositions for all learners.
