Theories and principles involved in the production, control, and application of ionizing radiation in radiography are covered. Additional topics include: developing a quality assurance program, quality control testing or radiographic equipment, processing the latent image, and image intensification. Advanced patient care skills are also included. Lecture: 4 credits (60 credit hours); Laboratory: 1 credit (30 contact hours); Clinical: 4 credits (300 contact hours).
