Students are introduced to the development and impact of contemporary social, scientific, and philosophical thought from an interdisciplinary perspective. Attention will be given to various historical and modern figures, relating their ideas and theories to our contemporary understanding of a variety of issues. Prerequisite: Admission in the Honors program. Lecture: 3 credits (45 contact hours).
