This course systematically addresses approaches to marketing tourism. Examines how and why tourists make destination choices, and learn how to develop a strategic marketing system that emphasizes your destination's distinctive appeal. Questions of how to assess visitor markets, how to gather and analyze data, how to reduce risk and gain competitive advantages, and how to turn analysis into sound decisions will also be addressed. This course features case studies, and practical tips for stretching marketing dollars through better monitoring, cost controls and evaluation.
