Managers are people in organizations who are given the power to decide what resources to use and how to use them. Topics explored include: organizational environments, corporate governance, organizational structure, goal-setting and planning, decision-making and problem- solving, organizational change and innovation, ethics and social responsibility, leadership and motivation, interpersonal relations and communication, managing work groups and teams, and basic elements of control. Pre-requisite: junior standing.
