Study of early human development (ages 0-5). Includes motor, cognitive, language and social/emotional development. Emphasis on early interactions with parents, other adults, siblings, peers and applications to childcare and preschool settings. Class emphasizes learning to observe small children with numerous opportunities for experience. Concurrent enrollment required in ED 236, ED 237, and ED239 as part of Sophomore Block.
