Description:
Preparing educators for the classroom portion of driver education in secondary schools is the focus of this course. State mandates, traffic safety requirements, "Rules of the Road" information and planning for the in-the-car phase of the training will be incorporated. A survey of materials and methods proven to be effective will be included. Offered fall semester. Required for driver education endorsement. Education majors only. Prerequisite: Exercise Science 202 and admittance into Teacher Education program.
