This course will look at the interactive nature of physical fitness components and nutrition as professionals strive to bring optimal wellness conditions to the general population. Fitness components, testing and program design will be discussed. Nutritional concepts, nutrient function and dietary considerations will be explored. Offered spring semester. Required for Athletic Training and Fitness and Sport majors. Prerequisite: Junior standing, majors only or consent of chair.
