Response, care and treatment in emergency situations are the primary focuses of this course. The course is taught in compliance with standards established by the American Red Cross. Personal and community safety and disaster response will be addressed. CPR certification for workplace and home is included. Offered fall and spring semester. Required for Physical Education majors and open to all students.
