Coursework involves reading and responding to various genre and engaging in professional book discussions to learn key strategies for teaching. Outcome: Students will read and respond to multiple texts written for the adolescent reader, design instructional strategies to encourage reader response in classroom settings, and create a thematic literature-based teaching unit
