Prerequisite: Completion of first year major- and related-area AAS program courses. Completion of first semester major- and related-area courses for one-year AAS students. A 12-week industry internship, scheduled individually for a minimum of 10 hours per week. Provides preprofessional experience related to student's major. In class sessions, interns conduct assessments, identify learning objectives, and develop lifelong career-planning skills. A daily journal is maintained and a self-marketing plan is required.
