Prerequisite: Approval of chairperson A 12-week internship in a qualified design office, industry showroom, or trade/workroom/ fabricator as selected by the student with the approval of the chairperson, for a minimum of 10 hours per week (or the equivalent). Includes individual interviews and assessment reviews with the student and instructor for pre-, during, and post-internship work experience. Assessment forms analyzing and evaluating the experience are required and a final closure interview is held.
