2 credits; 1 Lecture and 2 STUDIO hours per week The growing impact of ecology on the interior design profession is studied and includes such topics as non-depletable energy services, energy conservation, and resource conservation. Students explore therelationships between ecology and building construction, furniture, furnishings, equipment, building mechanical systems, and building maintenance. Recycling, reuse, and ecological awareness are among the areas studied.
