Prerequisite: ID 214 or ID 312 Explores the multi-dimensional aspects of the residence and principles of problem solving applied to urban and suburban living space. High-end cooperative/condominium apartments, townhouse, and country and vacation homes are studied. In-depth research methods are expanded upon through exchanges with guest design collaborators and field trips. Application of codes and barrier-free environments are studied, as well as focus areas of design such as the bath and/or kitchen.
