1 credit; 2 Lecture hours per week For one-year Fashion Design and Fashion Merchandising Management students. Students are introduced to the world of fashion through lectures and appearences by leaders in the fashion and related fields. A question and answer discussion follows each lecture. This course is intended to broaden students' cultural horizons through organized visits to a variety of museums, exhibits, backstage dressing venues, and design rooms, including backstage at the Metropolitan Opera house.
