This upper level seminar intended for psychology majors will focus on topical and controversial issues in psychology. These current issues may include questions such as the following: Are gender differences rooted in the brain? Can intelligence be increased? Is electroconvulsive therapy safe? Is marriage psychologically beneficial? The issues covered each time the seminar is offered will vary but will always integrate classroom learning and practical application of psychology material.
