This course will introduce the student to the health care management of the adult client in the primary care setting. Students will identify and treat common health deviations. Using a systems approach, this course will examine those alternations in health frequently encountered and managed by adult nurse practioners in the primary care setting. All aspects of health maintenance and disease management are emphasized, including but not limited to disease lifestyle modifications, nutritional needs, pharm, ct. educations, rehad, and evaluation of treatment plan.
