Description:

Contemporary events have revealed that all school districts need to prepare for the unthinkable. No school leader wants to be in the middle of a crisis. The potential for the occurrence of natural disasters, terrorist activity, violent students and shootings on school property significantly increase the burden of responsibility to keep students and faculty safe. This course encompasses crisis preparedness resources that will enable administrators to manage school emergencies. It will focus on three key elements of crisis management: planning, response and recovery. [1/24/2005]
