Current workplaces are diverse in various aspects. Most organizations have a mix of workers from different ethnic and cultural backgrounds. For leaders, managers, and supervisors to be effective in their workplace, they must be aware of the diversity issues that impact their organization. Special emphasis will be placed upon a study of leadership, ethical worldview, communications, and diverse sub-cultures presented from a global perspective along with political, social, and economic issues. Comparative studies of the different systems will be the focus of the student coursework. The Global Citizenship Seminar will include various international travel designed to enhance the individual's understanding of the international issues that have a direct and indirect effect on current and long-term goals of an organization.
