An introduction to psychology as a science, along with its methods of inquiry and representative findings in areas such as learning, memory, cognition, motivation, perception, development, social, abnormal, personality, and physiological psychology. An assignment is made in each section for experimental units credit, where a student participates in research projects or a research activity assignment. A prerequisite for all other psychology courses except PSY 329.
