This course offers students an increased understanding of the interaction of music and theatre throughout the centuries, and explores its significant impact on other parameters of society. Students will be introduced to the basic elements of both music and theatre, and will explore the ways that the creators of these works have utilized these elements to evoke emotional reactions from their audiences. Background in music or theatre is not required.
