An introduction to fundamentals of artificial intelligence, including problem-solving techniques, search strategies and heuristics, and knowledge representation. First order logic, normal forms, unification, and resolution principles are introduced with applications to problem solving, theorem proving, logic, and database theory. Prerequisite: CS 255.
