Institution:
BridgeValley Community and Technical College
Subject:
Electrical Engineering Tech
Description:
An introductory course in steady-state de circuit analysis using resistors, capacitors, and inductors in series and parallel circuits. Ohms Law, Kirchoff's Laws, Tevenin's Theorem, and Norton's Theorem are covered. Loop, mesh, and nodal analyssis are taught. THe laboratory portion teaches basick bread-boarding techniques and introduces the student to basic electrical instruments Students learn to calculate and, measure voltage current and power dissipation in small de circuits. Circuit simulation and analysis is introduced using industry-standard software.
