Description:
Introducton to the current practices and developments in both electrical and electronic drafting. Methods used to produce technical drawings required by industry will be explored using AutoCAD. Students will learn block diagrams, control drawings, logic diagrams, schematic diagrams, printed circuit board drawings, integrated circuit drawings, ladder diagrams, and interconnecting diagrams. Current techniques to produce electrical design and working drawings will also be studied. Interaction and coordination of projects with ELET courses is encouraged with permission of instructor.
